The Green Burial Funeral

Held at The South Hams Natural Burial Ground, Aveton Gifford

The Green Burial Funeral allows you to have a service at our Service Chapel Which can be attended by family or friends. Alternatively, the service can take place in the barn at The South Hams Natural Burial Ground or at the graveside.

This service includes:-

The local removal of your loved one from their place of death within 30miles of our premises.
The care of your loved one, dressing them in their own clothes, visiting inthe chapel of rest, if required within business hours at a time agreed.
The provision of a wooden effect coffin. (should you wish to upgrade to anything else this will incur an additional charge)
The completion of all the required paperwork and liaising with the burial ground to arrange a day and time for the burial
The paying of all the necessary fees on your behalf.
The provision of our hearse and funeral director to travel to the burial ground with your loved one.
The guidance of family bearers or the provision of necessary staff.
The provision of a celebrant to lead the service for you if required.
The provision of a temporary grave marker.

The Green Burial Funeral is a fixed price of £3595.00. A deposit of £1500.00 is required before the funeral takes place.

Terms and Conditions
1.Should a coffin of 6’2” x 22” or bigger is required an extra charge will be incurred.
2.If a newspaper notice is required this will be charged at cost.
3.Floral tributes can be arranged and charged at cost.
4.Mileage may be charged on a removal over the stated 30 miles.
5.Printed orders of service if required will be charged at cost.
